It’s time I go green. Even though I usually feature indulgent sweets on my blog, I also know the importance of having a healthy, well-balanced diet. Smoothies are my favorite way to add fruits and veggies to my diet because they are quick to make and taste better than boring, raw vegetables. This light, refreshing drink is great for the warm months ahead.
Kale Smoothie with Watermelon and Pear
- 1 cup watermelon, cubed
- 3/4 cup kale, chopped
- 3/4 pear, chopped
- 1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
Place watermelon, kale, pear, yogurt and lemon juice in blender and puree until smooth. Add milk if consistency is too thick.
