Pumpkin Bread

After trying many pumpkin bread recipes, I have decided that this one is my favorite! It is simple to make and has the perfect pumpkin flavor. It’s a good thing that it makes multiple loaves because I could easily eat a whole one my self– it’s that tasty! Also perfect to share with neighbors, family or roommates!


3 cups white sugar

1 cup oil

2 cups pumpkin (Libby’s)

3 eggs

3 cups flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp cloves

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend oil and sugar; whip in eggs. Stir pumpkin into creamy mixture. Add dry ingredients that have already been blended together. Optional: add one cup of raisins or nuts. One batch makes 3 8×4 pans. Spray pans with cooking spray. Fill pans evenly (about 1/2 full). Bake for 45-50 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. Enjoy!
